Toy

To him, I am a toy

My broken but a joke

He is ever so coy

But on his words I choke

He finds hope in misery

But only knows what he sees

He finds laughter in calamity

And carries on with ease

He scars my fragile body

He roams my uneasy mind

But despite what he tells me

From his lies I have resigned

And I may falter before hate

But a toy I’ll never be

For only I decide my fate

And I choose to be free
