Around the age of 16, I discovered my dream. I wanted to be a writer, though due to my late realization, I got a bit of a late start. It wasn’t until I graduated high school and put all the extra responsibilities behind me for some time that I’d really gotten to explore my writing capabilities.

Soon enough, I started to realize that there was much more to writing than writing itself. Despite my lack of interest in reading and an inability to focus for long periods of time, I decided it was time to pick up a few books on my own.
Outside of the school setting, I’d come to love literature all on my own, given the fact that I now had freedom to choose. This discovery was what made my first story possible. Granted, it wasn’t the work of art I had intended it to be, but nonetheless, I was proud of it.

Sometime later, I decided that it was time to do something different yet somehow more familiar; poetry. I had always written songs, so the transition was rather smooth. By March 2016, I self-published my first poetry book, “Human.” Not long after, I stumbled upon WordPress and have been blogging ever since. I’ve come to love blogging and the whole experience has been, quite literally, life-changing.At the end of the day, all I really want to do is come to understand myself and the world around me. I believe that writing helps me to do this, and I hope that as I share my thoughts, I’ll be able to touch someone’s heart, as cheesy as it may sound. I hope you like my blog!
